Moving and Learning
This experience may be your one- or two-year-old’s first time in childcare. It’s hard to say who is more nervous—you or your child.
At Youthland Academy in the Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, and northern Kentucky areas, we aim to ease your nerves with our caring approach to childcare. Your child can learn and play in a small group of other toddlers.
Our Preschool Curriculum
At age one or two, your child is exploring his or her world for the first time. He or she is just beginning to experiment and push boundaries. Through our childcare program, we cater to these characteristics by creating a safe environment for your child to explore and play.
Our daily activities include:
- Art Expression
- Blocks
- Circle Games
- Imaginative Play
- Library Time
- Music
- Storytelling
- Tactile Centers
We help your child learn important skills for the first time, such as counting, writing, and using the potty. Your child learns how to follow instructions, which will help prepare him or her for preschool and kindergarten. Plus, we have regular visitors from the Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, communities who present their knowledge to our eager young learners.
You and your child will also benefit from our healthy environment. We promote physical activity every day, including outdoor play, and we limit screen time to 30 minutes a week. We also feed your children fresh, hot food that’s packed with nutritional benefits.
Our Family-Focused Environment
If you’re nervous to leave your child alone, feel comfortable in our family-friendly childcare environment. We allow parents to visit at any point during the day and participate in their children’s activities. We also welcome mothers to breastfeed during school time if they need to.
With locations throughout the Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, and northern Kentucky areas, we’re sure to have a location near you. Explore our locations to learn more.
